It has been long time ago discussion about pagerank did, now I am going to extend opinion about Pagerank of a website which theoretically caused by too many outbound links. But here I have made a conclusion that this is not true at all. This is based on some site I watch along my day which alwasy make outbound link to the other site but it still get pagerank, atleast pagerank 2.

It is a music website which always embeds video from Youtube which has been Page rank 9. There are many outbound links from this site to YouTube and it just own 43 inbound link (based on alexa.com). But here we can see that it still get pagerank 2. From that fact, I concluded that not all of outbound links cause your pagerank drop.

Instead, I agree that outbound to high quality link will maintain your pagerank from being dropped. However we have to make portion between outbound and inbound link in balance.From here, I don’t hesitate  again to make outbound link to high quality site based on Google Search Engine Judgement.

Akhirnya pagerank update lagi dan hasilnya sungguh sangat tidak mengenakkan. Seperti yang bisa Anda lihat pada blog ini yang sekarang ini tidak memiliki pagerank sama sekali. Tidak hanya itu situs ini pun sekarang memiliki alexa yang bertengger diatas seribu, tepatnya sekarang ber-alexa 1,077,487. Tetapi memang tidak begitu mengagetkan karena memang site ini tidak pernah tersentuh sama sekali. Akhirnya penyesalan yang datang

Tetapi yang membuat saya lebih kaget adalah update pagerank yang dilakukan Google sampai tiga kali dalam 2 minggu terkhir. Pertama update dilakukan pada tanggal 26 September lalu update juga dilakukan oleh google pada tanggal 2 dan 12 Oktober. Update pertama menunjukkan bahwa selama ini usaha yang saya lakukan untuk mengoptimasi website saya masih sangat kurang. Optimasi itu bisa jadi dengan membuat backlink pada situs-situs yang lainnya agar memiliki inbond yang cukup untuk menaikkan  pagerank. Akhirnya dari pagerank 2 terjun ke pagerank 1.

Pada tanggal 2 Oktober pagerank kembali di update oleh Google, namun keadaan website saya pun masih sama seperti update pertama. Pada awalnya saya mengira bahwa update pagerank oleh google sudah selesai, namun ternyata tidak. Website saya yang telah berpagerank 1 karena telah drop kini kembali drop menjadi 0.

Dan akhirnya saya harus mencari tip dan trik yang bisa mengangkat kembali pagerank website ini.  Semoga website ini bisa jadi pelajaran tidak hanya bagi saya tetapi juga para pembaca akan pentingnya update dan optimasi pada blog Anda.
